Foodies At Home

The holidays are all about family and friends and what better way to do this than sharing a holiday meal together! We asked 6 influencers to help us create the ultimate holiday menu using Krinos products. That’s right – from appetizers to dessert these Foodies at Home have got you covered! Explore all of the different and exciting ways to use your favourite Krinos products and include them at your holiday table this year. Follow the making of the perfect holiday meal below!

We start off our appetizers with beautifully crispy and savoury one-bite Acropolis Phyllo shells filled with whipped Krinos Greek feta and topped with sweet and sticky Krinos Pomegranate Balsamic Glaze, crunchy pistachios and finished with tart pops of pomegranate arils from Victoria Mansaku blogger and recipe developer.

Next up these gorgeous Ruffled Fillo Tarts filled with juicy olives, tangy feta cheese and topped with a generous drizzle of our exclusive pure, raw Greek Attiki Honey. Created by Maria Koutsogiannis recipe developer and content creator who focuses on plant-based eating. We dare you to just eat one piece!

We couldn’t prepare a holiday feast without showing you a few options for your main show-stopper! We teamed up with our next 2 award-winning foodies to bring you their twist on these warm, comforting and crowd-pleasing favourites.

Michael Varga, full-time firefighter, Chopped Winner and Masterchef Canada participant has taken the traditional lamb chop and turned up the volume! He has created Pan-Seared Lamb Chops with a Whipped Halloumi and Roasted Red Pepper Chimichurri. This creamy topping pairs perfectly with the lamb and Krinos Roasted Red Peppers bring a bright and fruity balance to this dish. Seconds anyone?

Chef Keith Pears, Chopped Champ and the Executive Chef of the W Hotel Toronto, has created this beautiful dish of Tomato and Olive Braised Short Ribs with Whipped Feta and Gremolata topping. Tender, fall of the bone short ribs paired with fruity Mt Athos green olives, and tangy whipped Greek feta, topped with a gremolata will have your guests asking for more!

What about a side dish? Well, we have the perfect recipe that Keith Pears has created to add to his luscious short ribs or to pair with your main dish of choice!

Chef Keith has prepared classic Roasted Potatoes tossed with Herbs, new Krinos Tzatziki and Vlahotiri, a cheese that gives a salty, creamy finish. An instant family-favourite!

Our holiday feast isn’t complete without a dessert! After all of the fanfare a simple and satisfying dessert is what we are craving. Served best with your favourite tea or espresso, these cookies created by the 2 ladies behind Mia Kouppa, Helen & Billie, will be a staple for holidays to come! These crumbly, slightly sweet and earthy Krinos Tahini and Attiki Honey cookies are a perfect ending to a heartwarming meal.

And with that our feast is complete!

We hope you are inspired to add Krinos into your holiday dishes this year. Find these curated recipes below with links directly to each and give all of our Foodies at Home some love! Happy Holidays!
