Feta Pull-Apart Bread

As the October air cools and the leaves change, everyone is craving warm, comfort food. We’ve come up with an awesome meal hack that’s easily sharable and hits the spot, so you can enjoy the beautiful fall days ahead.

Our Feta Pull-Apart Bread is a simple recipe you can make ahead of a dinner party, with your kids or to snack on. With two cheeses and loads of flavour, you’ll be equally impressed by the taste and ease of this dish.

To make our Feta Pull-Apart Bread you’ll need 1.5 lbs of store-bought pizza dough – no need to make your own here. Divide the dough in half, dust with flour and roll out until ½ inch thick. Cut each half into 4 squares so you have 8 pieces.

Preheat the oven to 400º F. In a small bowl, mash together Krinos Feta, ½ cup of crumbled Ricotta, 2 tbsp olive oil, and oregano. Stir in 1 cup of coarsely grated mozzarella and 2 cloves of chopped garlic.

Top each dough square with a generous tablespoon of the Feta mixture and top with a second piece of dough, flattening slightly to distribute the filling. Cut the square in half and begin to stack the dough standing up against one another in a 9×5 non-stick loaf pan. Imagine a very tall club sandwich in a loaf pan.

Repeat the entire process until all the dough is used and the loaf pan is filled with layers of dough and cheesy filling. Cover with a kitchen towel, set in a warm spot and let rise for about 30-45 minutes.

Before baking, brush the top with the remaining olive oil and sprinkle any unused filling on top. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until deeply golden.

While we know you’ll want to dig in as soon as it comes out of the oven, allow the bread to stand for 10 minutes before serving and pulling apart!
