Attiki Honey
Attiki Honey is gathered from bee hives off the Aegean islands of Greece, which are carpeted with thyme and hundreds of other indigenous flowers and plants, untouched by chemical and herbicides. These flowers are the source of Attiki’s Honey which is famous for it’s unique flavor and velvety richness.

Drizzled over feta cheese, mixed into Greek yogurt or spread over toast, honey makes a healthy and nutritious snack.

  • Honey is a great source of antioxidants.
  • Makes a soothing addition to your tea.
  • Honey can be used to replace sugar in most recipes.
  • Honey helps to build up immunity to pollen, dust and mold allergies.
  • Keep vinaigrettes stable due to its emulsifying qualities.

Since 1928, the Attiki Bee Culturing Company has provided Greece and the rest of the world with this unique product. It is the winner of numerous domestic and international awards and Krinos is proud to be the exclusive importer of this unique Greek product.

International Award of quality and taste iTQi

In 2011, and for the second time, the Superior Taste Award was awarded by the International Taste and Quality Institute (iTQi) to our Company for our Attiki Honey.

Attiki Honey was recognised with the same award back in 2008, thereby confirming the superior taste and the high quality requirements of the most famous Greek apiculture company in the world.

The International Taste and Quality Institute (iTQi) is a leading, independent organisation, dedicated to testing, recognising and promoting superior tasting food and drink from around the world. The judges of the Institute are international experts and members of the most prestigious culinary and sommelier associations (including, the Hellenic Chef’s Association, l’Academie Culinaire de France and la Federazione Italiana Cuochi).
Attiki Honey was tested blind and yet again garnered three Stars – the highest accolade – which are only awarded to exceptional products.

On receiving this accolade, Mr George Pittas, CEO of the Company, stated: "This distinction honours our tireless efforts to provide an exceptional, 100% natural and superior tasting Greek honey to consumers in Greece and overseas, simultaneously consolidating Greek apiculture. We are proud that our honey, Attiki Honey, is an ambassador of our country abroad".
